How the calendar is generated
- The year begins on the last Sunday of September
- The calendar is divided into four quarters, each beginning on the same day of the week
- Each quarter consists of three months. The first month of each quarter always consists of 35 days and the other two consist of 28 days.
- Every 4-6 years, an extra week is added to the first quarter. The last time an extra week was added was by December 2022.
- The weeks in the calendar are American - they start on Sunday and end on Saturday.
- Payments usually come 33 days after the end of the previous month, but not always.
